The Best in Commercial Cabinetry and Casework

Sandra Pierce
President

The Phoenix Woodworking story consists of tragedy, triumph and an unending source of strength, determination and commitment.

After a devastating fire and a second attempt to resurrect a former millwork company failed, Sandra Pierce recognized that it could be an opportunity for a new company to rise from the ashes, with a different path. So, in 1996, she purchased the assets of the company and launched Phoenix Woodworking. In the process, she also hired many of the original employees who were skilled artisans of their craft. These employees brought with them many techniques learned through decades of knowledge passed down within their families and communities.

Working together with customers, vendors and subcontractors – many of whom remain with the company to this day –
Phoenix Woodworking began its rise to become one of the most respected commercial millwork companies in the Midwest with our President, Sandra Pierce guiding us each step of the way.

Today, our expansive 20,000 square foot facility is home to a dedicated team of professional millworkers, draftsmen, project managers and administrators, supported by the latest in technology, and a steadfast commitment to offering the best product for our clients.

Phoenix Woodworking is a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and certified with the Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the largest third-party certifying organization for women business enterprises. Additionally, the company has received recognition as a quality woodworker from the AWI Quality Certification Program and is also a certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB).
